    2-Day Clinic Overview

    Saturday's Lecture
    8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Martha will provide participants with the background necessary for coming to a functional understanding of the Whole Horse Trim™. This overview includes a lecture on the physiology of the hoof and hoof mechanism. She will explain how the Whole Horse Trim™ facilitates the ability of a horse to regain and maintain soundness and why it is that shoeing horses actually undermines soundness. Also covered in this session are the components of natural care essential to rehabilitation and/or maintenance of barefoot horses.

$30 to attend Saturday's lecture only.

    Saturday's Dissection and Discussion
    12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Martha will demonstrate the Whole Horse Trim™ and dissect a cadaver hoof. Participants have the opportunity to ask questions. This demonstration is designed to facilitate a deeper understanding of hoof physiology and to demonstrate hoof mechanism. Seeing this makes the concepts vividly clear -and indisputable - as to why it is that horses must have a properly trimmed and maintained hooves to live lives of sound performance.

$80 to attend both Saturday's lecture AND dissection.

    Sunday's All-Day Trimming Under Martha's Supervision
    8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Less experienced participants may trim cadaver feet. Each participant will trim under Martha's supervision. This session is geared for participants who have been trimming horses.

Prerequisites: Functional knowledge of the Whole Horse Trim™. Participants who plan to trim a live horse should have some prior trimming or farrier experience. It is recommended others trim cadaver feet.
